McCarthy Golf Putting lessonK P McCarthy is a PGA Professional and is a new golf teaching professional at Mansion Ridge Golf Club, Monroe, Orange County NY which is part of American Golf. K P McCarthy is a certified golf Instructor and offers golf lesson packages at all levels, form one-on-on off golf lessons to complete professional golf instruction and coaching for individuals. Kieran has also taken a job at Dick's Sporting Goods in East Hanover, New Jersey giving sales and club fitting advice to the general public at the store.

We offer a wide variety of golf packages including:

My personal approach for teaching is that we start with putting then chipping, pitching, bunkers play and finally we end with the full golf swing. The short game in golf accounts for 63 percent of the golf game but the least practice, which is why it is good to start with the short game and work back.

Golf Lessons can involve video taping your golf swing and posture, but all lessons begin with fundamentals of golf and start with the correct grip, then move on to the posture, the motion of the swing the plane, impact position and the finish.

McGladrey Team Championships event

Mansion Ridge has signed up to the McGladrey Team Championships event. The first nationwide grassroots best ball amateur event will take place some time in JULY. The qualifying date is Wednesday, July 29th, Tee Times are from 10:30am till 12:30pm, size of Field is 21 (3person teams) both men and women can play. At this time we are looking for 21 three man or women teams to sign up and take part in this great event which is run by the PGA of America. Everyone must have a USGA HANDICAP to play or some type of official handicap. Cost to play is $55.00 Per person plus $49.00 in greens fee. format is one best ball of the of the 3, Sign up is between June 2 and 28th and they can sign up 2 ways,
